Medford's Rising Star will sponsor two community events: 1) an audition; and 2) a grand finale. Details for these events are listed below:
- Medford's Rising Star Auditions [UPDATED]
This event will be held on Saturday, October 3 at Medford High School.
ADMISSION—$3.00.
- Medford's Rising Star Grand Finale
This event will be held on Sunday, October 25 at Tufts University's Cohen Auditorium on 15 South Campus Road.
ADMISSION—adults: $10.00;
children age 12 and under: $5.00.
The judging criteria for both the auditions and the grand finale will be talent (50%), showmanship (25%) and overall performance (25%). Individuals or groups receiving the top ten scores within each age group during the audition round will be invited to participate in the grand finale.
